Oval vestibule with a collapsed skylight and ivy in a château in France

An oval room with blue-green tiled walls opens upward to a badly damaged glass roof, through whose opening ivy vines hang all the way down to the floor. A wrought-iron railing runs around the opening at the level of an upper walkway, behind which charred roof timbers are visible. A narrow, rubble-covered walkway leads to a door at the far end of the room, through which greenery glows from outside. The combination of decay and growth defines the entire scene.
