A dense flock of birds sweeps above the church with its open, gold shimmering dome and a slender bell tower. The facade shows exposed masonry beneath flaking pale plaster, a lower annex adjoining to one side. Individual trees stand around the building, with flat, wide land opening beyond it to the horizon. The sky is clear and deep blue, the light coming low and from the side.
