Church with an open dome amid dense forest near Bobda, Romania
The round dome of the church has collapsed in several places, the metal framework beneath left exposed. A slender bell tower with its own small dome stands to one side, the facade showing bare brickwork beneath flaking plaster. Dense, dark green forest encloses the building entirely, with only a small clearing opening up behind it. The light is muted and faintly golden.
