Ruins of a mine with red stained water in southern Spain

In front of the ruins of a rough stone structure lies a pool of intensely red stained water, the result of mineral deposits from mining. In the background a chimney rises among further building remains on a barren hill. The landscape is dry and sand coloured, with only a single palm tree breaking the scene. A clear blue sky contrasts sharply with the red surface below.
