PINAPPLE HOUSE

Stone pineapple shaped garden pavilion on an estate in Scotland

Above a low pavilion rises a stone roof shaped like an oversized pineapple, flanked by chimney pots and a brick wall. A round arched entrance leads into the walled garden, with ivy covered wall sections lining the grounds. Autumn coloured trees stand densely behind it, the sky glowing in warm orange tones. The unusual shape of the structure stands out clearly against the quiet garden.
