Elongated sanatorium with arcades in the forest before a mountain panorama, Abkhazia
The elongated structure of the sanatorium is divided into several wings with small turrets and decorative gables, an open arcade running along the lower level of the facade. Palms and deciduous trees grow close against the reddish masonry, with branches partly overgrowing the roof surfaces. Snow capped mountains rise in the background beneath a densely clouded sky. The elaborate articulation of the facade remains clearly visible despite the vegetation.
