Painted corridor with an oval ceiling fresco in a historic Italian villa
A narrow corridor runs past painted wall panels toward a sequence of open doors. Overhead, the vaulted ceiling carries an oval fresco of leaf garlands and delicate scrollwork. The floor is laid in a diamond pattern of light and dark stone, with upholstered benches lining both walls.
