Arcade with a view into the garden of a palazzo in Piedmont, Italy
Groin vaults on slender brick columns form an arcade, through whose arches the view falls on an outdoor staircase. The steps lead down into a garden from which tall trees and shrubs rise. The floor of the passage is partly paved, partly overgrown with green. A narrow window in the back wall lets in additional light.
