Three round arches on slender columns lead through a corridor whose walls were once painted with frescoes. Only isolated patches of colour and outlines survive, the rest of the plaster has fallen away. Dry vines hang down from the ceiling and one of the columns. At the end of the passage, a dark doorway opens up.
