Church ruin with stacked wooden crates in Italy

Beneath tall, plastered arches, a large pile of old wooden crates and pallets rises, taking up a considerable part of the room. The plaster on the walls and vault is stained and flaked away in places down to the brickwork, and a round window in the left wall is broken. Light falls through a rear doorway onto young trees and plants already growing through the floor. The once sacred space now looks like a repurposed storage room.
