Baroque church with marbled pilasters in Italy
A church nave with tall, orange-brown marbled pilasters and white stucco capitals, small putti figures with outstretched wings set into the upper corners. The apse shows a large figurative fresco, badly damaged above and broken through by a hole in the ceiling. A dense carpet of timber remains, plaster, and rubble covers the floor before the altar. Despite the destruction, the room retains its festive coloring.
