View into the dome of an abandoned church in Poland

The view rises through an oval ceiling opening into a green-toned dome, around which several rows of wooden galleries with curved balustrades wind upward. Below, slender columns with reddish brick arches carry the galleries, while the ceiling panel in the foreground shows ochre ornamental painting with flaking patches. Windows in the dome let muted light fall onto the weathered surfaces. The circling movement of the galleries inevitably draws the eye upward.
