Colonnade overlooking the coast at the Black Sea
White columns with carved capitals support the colonnade's roof, its stone balustrade closing off the foreground. Through an arch, the view opens onto wooded slopes, scattered houses and a narrow strip of sea on the horizon. The sky is heavily overcast, the light beneath it soft and diffuse.
