A curved wooden staircase leads up to a room with a tall, richly ornamented coffered ceiling and floral wallpaper. A pointed gothic window and a round rosette window sit above an arch that frames two doorways. The plank floor is marked by moss and stains, a broken window opening onto a view of a tiled roof.
