Collapsed salon with three sofas in a château in Belgium, since demolished
A large part of the stucco-decorated ceiling has collapsed, charred roof beams hanging over a mound of rubble. Three upholstered sofas and armchairs stand in their original places along the wall, their covers dusty but still showing a recognizable pattern. Two tall arched windows let light fall onto the ruined fireplace at the center. The wallpaper on the side walls hangs from the wall in tatters.
