A painted trellis with orange trees and birds covers the ceiling and upper wall, painted yellow drapery hanging beneath it. Two tufted sofas with pale upholstery face each other, flanking a central door above which a rooster and a helmet are painted. The floor is strewn with plaster chunks and stones, while light falls through the open door into the room. The painting reads like a garden brought indoors.
