Tattered chaise longue in an abandoned villa in Piedmont, Italy

A chaise longue with a blue floral cover stands battered in the corner, its upholstery torn open in several places. Remnants of floral wallpaper hang in long strips from the stained wall. A window with broken shutters lets ivy grow in from outside, while photographs and papers cover the floor. Muted light falls through the window onto the scattered pages.
