Fern thicket beneath a partly collapsed glass roof in a cotton mill in Italy
Above a dense thicket of ferns, the glass roof has given way completely in one spot, hanging metal fragments marking the collapse. The rest of the roof is darkened by moss and weathering. Windows at the far end of the hall let in daylight, breaking across the damp fern leaves. The room feels denser and wilder than comparable halls in the complex.
