Staircase with an oval ceiling medallion and collapsed walls in an Art Nouveau villa in Portugal

Beneath an ornately decorated ceiling with an oval medallion, a staircase with a wooden balustrade descends. Three narrow windows in the back wall let light in, while the walls on either side have collapsed, opening onto greenery and tiled roofs beyond. Debris of wood and plaster litters the steps. The ceiling appears almost intact above the ruin below.
