A parlour with pale green walls carries painted landscape scenes beneath the ceiling. Two arched alcoves with colourful leaded glass flank a dark wooden door, fronted by two red upholstered chairs with faded covers. At the centre, a round table draped in a lace cloth holds a vase of dried pampas grass. Striped parquet and a rug cover the floor, and light from the windows bathes the room in a muted play of colour.
