Turquoise paint peels in broad patches from the vaulted wall, revealing beige and rust-coloured layers beneath. Three windows with green-painted shutters stand open, their panes partly broken. Above the centre opening, the vault narrows into a slim pointed cap. The strong colour and the decay form a quiet, almost painterly contrast.
