Vaulted corridor with cross-shaped light from two open doors in an abandoned palazzo, Piedmont, Italy

A long corridor with a barrel-vaulted, coffered ceiling leads toward two open door leaves at its far end. Light falls through the angled doors in two crossing beams onto the dusty floor. Arched niches structure the walls on either side of the passage. The room's plain geometry and the cross of light form the calm centre of the image.
