Manor house with turrets amid autumn-coloured trees, Scotland
A large building with several pointed turrets and bay windows sits embedded among densely leaved trees in shades of orange and green. The roof is partly collapsed, and on one side of the facade windows stand empty and walls have crumbled. Beyond it, hilly farmland opens up under an overcast sky. The contrast between the autumn foliage and the decaying structure defines the image.
