Vaulted room with a view of greenery on a former mining site in Belgium
A barrel-vaulted brick ceiling frames the view through a large round arch onto wooded hills beyond. Further arched windows open on both sides, letting daylight in. The floor is dark and uneven, with individual recesses suggesting former fittings. The vegetation outside forms a clear contrast to the bare brick structure inside.
