Piles of rubble in a long corridor of a former ceramics factory in Italy

A long corridor of slender concrete supports runs through the hall, roofed by a row of narrow skylights. Mounds of bricks, rubble and moulded blocks pile up along the floor, in places reaching up to ceiling height. At the far end, the outlines of further collapsed areas blur into darkness. The symmetry of the supports remains visible despite the destruction.
