Octagonal corridor with a bright point of light at the end in an industrial facility in Italy

The same octagonal corridor here opens toward a bright light at the end of the long sequence of concrete frames. The repetition of the frames draws the eye straight toward that single bright point. The floor is covered with fine, pale dust, with small fragments of debris at the edges. The clear symmetry of the construction remains fully intact despite the decay.
