Rusted turbine wheel behind ivy at a hydroelectric plant in Italy
A round turbine wheel with many individual blades hangs in a wall opening, its metal deeply rusted in reddish brown. Dense ivy grows along the frame of the opening and covers the adjoining walls almost entirely. In the foreground, barred windows reinforce the impression of a technical space. The plant looks as though it were slowly catching up with the wheel.
