Staircase with columns before deep blue walls in an abandoned hotel in Georgia

Two diagonal flights with turned balusters cross before walls in deep blue, flaking in places down to the base plaster. Slender columns with richly ornamented capitals support the ceiling, where a floral ornament remains visible. The floor is laid with fine pebble terrazzo. The bold blue sets an unusually clear accent of colour within the decay.
