From an elevated position, the interior of the abandoned town appears, its houses with cracked facades and collapsed roofs standing close together. A chimney and several wall fragments rise among the ruins, while wide, rolling hills stretch to the horizon behind. Scattered snow capped peaks can be made out in the distance. Warm afternoon light grazes the weathered stone facades.
