From a lower vantage point, a low stone wall follows the curve of the hill up to the ruin complex with its round tower and chapel. Evening light bathes the stone facades in warm yellow and orange tones, while clouds break open in the sky. Pastureland stretches below the hill to the horizon. From here the complex appears especially elevated above the flat landscape.
