Decaying ballroom with remnants of a curtain and a peeling ceiling in Berlin

Remnants of a red and white striped curtain hang beneath the heavily damaged ceiling, its paint flaking off in large patches. Arched windows and columns line the long hall, its floor bare and covered in debris. Only a little light enters through the tall windows into the wide room, hinting at its former scale.
