Decaying theatre with exposed brick wall and collapsed floor in Italy
Above the tiers the plaster has fallen away completely, leaving the bare brick wall exposed. A curved balcony balustrade hangs like a frozen wave over the collapsed floor, strewn with broken boards. Through a door in the background daylight falls into the otherwise shadowed hall, tracing the outlines of the decayed boxes.
