A hexagonally gridded coffered ceiling frames a round stained-glass rosette, through which soft light falls. Below it a double wrought-iron staircase leads to a glazed door at the far end of the hall, flanked by painted wall panels in bold colours. Red doors sit symmetrically on either side of the tiled floor.
