GREENERY III

Richly decorated greenhouse facade with an ornament on the pediment in Italy

The symmetrical facade of a greenhouse shows a fine diamond pattern of metal struts running across round arched windows and a central portal. An ornamental group of figures sits on the pediment, entwined with flowering shoots. The panes are covered with foliage in many places or missing altogether. Trees rise from behind, overtopping the roof.
