Ivy covered vestibule with a suite of doors opening to a lake view in Italy

A vaulted vestibule with a round arched fanlight is threaded with hanging vines right up to the ceiling. Two pale double doors stand open, revealing a further sequence of doors through which the lake and mountains become visible at the end. The floor is covered in dry leaves, and the walls show flaking plaster in warm yellow tones. The vertical framing emphasises the depth of the enfilade.
