Stairways between concrete funnels in an abandoned factory in Italy

Four funnel-shaped concrete shafts converge on a narrow landing where several spiral staircases meet. Rusted railings trace tight curves against the grey concrete while daylight falls through a broken window above. The smooth, curved walls make it hard to tell whether the view leads down into the depths or up toward the light. Damp has left dark streaks across the concrete.
