Blue painted bathing room with a pool, Tuscany, Italy
Deep blue paint peels from vaulted walls, revealing brick and pale plaster beneath. A few steps lead down to a rectangular pool of clear, turquoise water. Bright light enters through a narrow doorway and breaks on the water's surface. The room feels simple and self contained, focused entirely on the blue and the water.
