VERGESSENE PRACHT – Lost Places in Europe

Europe has a rich history reaching back to antiquity. Over the course of time, however, some of these places lost their significance and were left behind. Many of these abandoned places can be visited today and offer a fascinating journey into the past. In search of the magic of those bygone times, photographer Sven Fennema travelled to nostalgic places of longing across Europe. Once magnificent manor houses and epic landscapes in Scotland, villas and theatre auditoriums in Italy surrounded by the beauty of melancholy, enchanted country estates in Portugal, weathered palaces in Georgia.

Sven Fennema presents unique photographs from 11 countries that conjure up imaginative worlds of transience and get under your skin. A warm welcome!
