Former orangery with a crenellated crown and pointed arch windows, Italy

The two storey building presents a row of tall pointed arch windows stacked one above the other, the upper edge finished with a narrow crenellated crown. The facade in warm yellow and pink tones has flaked away in several places, a corner turret hinting at a once richer articulation. Trees with dense foliage stand all around the building, the low sun striking the facade from the side. Despite its fortress like form, the many windows suggest a bright, open interior.
