Moorish-style columned hall with a zigzag floor in Castello di Sammezzano, Tuscany, Italy

Two rows of slender, dark blue columns with gilded diamond patterns support a sequence of horseshoe arches densely decorated with geometric patterns in red, blue, and gold. The floor shows a zigzag pattern of reddish and beige tiles running the full length of the hall. At the far end, a window with colored glass glows between further decorated arches. Every wall surface is covered with small-scale tile ornament in varying motifs.
