Round colonnaded hall with a sea view in an abandoned building

A round hall with a ribbed, ochre-toned dome opens through a row of slender columns onto a terrace. Beyond it lie the sea and a line of cypress trees under a clear sky. The marble floor reflects the light, and plaster has flaked from the walls in places, revealing older layers of paint underneath. The open construction gives the space a light, almost weightless feel.
