Multi-level ruined interior with collapsed floors in the Smetzky palace, Abkhazia
The view passes through several stacked, partly collapsed floors of a once grand building down to a green-covered ground level. Slender columns with capitals still stand upright among exposed beams and perforated plaster. Unglazed round-arched windows appear in the background, and moss and verdigris cover large parts of the walls. Fragments of the former decor lie scattered among rubble and emerging vegetation.
