Barrel-vaulted hall with a glass roof in the former hotel of the Lahmann Sanatorium, Germany

A long, barrel-vaulted hall is spanned by a heavily weathered glass roof with rusted glazing bars, through which muted light enters. Round-arched windows with wooden shutters line the reddish-toned long walls, with old radiators standing in front of them. The wooden floor is charred and broken up in many places. The even row of windows and the filtering light define the atmosphere of the empty hall.
