Moss-covered row of arches in a hydroelectric power plant in Umbria, Italy
A narrow, vaulted passage repeats in a sequence of green moss-covered round arches receding into the depth of the frame. The walls show a rough surface marked by moisture, with dark and light patches. Muted light enters from the side, bringing out the contours of the arches. The narrow floor is partly wet and covered with deposits.
