A narrow room with dark, Gothic-carved wood panelling is topped by a peaked glass roof patterned with red diamonds. A closed wooden double door stands at the far end, with a single upholstered chair in red fabric in front of it. On the left, a stone column with an ornately carved capital projects into the space, and the patterned tile floor is covered in ash and debris. Soot marks on the walls suggest a past fire.
