White Moorish-style corridor with stucco ornament in Castello di Sammezzano, Tuscany, Italy

A tall corridor kept entirely in white is covered from floor to ceiling in fine, geometric stucco ornament in Moorish style. A row of slender columns leads to a pointed archway at the end, behind which a colored glass window glows. A small balcony with colorful glass inserts breaks up the white surface in the upper section. The floor shows an elaborate mosaic of small stones in a radiating pattern.
