Church nave with a dense ivy carpet on the floor in Italy
A dense carpet of ivy leaves covers the entire floor of the nave, reaching all the way to the steps of the distant altar. The ceiling beams have partly come loose and hang at an angle into the space, while light falls through the gaps. More vines climb up the ochre-coloured walls. The whole room appears steeped in green.
