Vaulted arcade opening onto greenery in a palazzo in Lombardy, Italy
Three groin vaults on brick columns line up into an open arcade, through which dense foliage grows inward. The arches themselves show clear flaking along the edges, with the brickwork partly exposed. The floor is densely covered in low plants reaching up to the bases of the columns. Soft, diffuse light fills the entire passage.
