Twin-engine transport aircraft in dense scrub in Veneto, Italy

The aircraft's grey fuselage with an orange nose rises out of dense scrub and bare trees, its two propellers standing still. The wings reach far into the vegetation, the paint flaking in several places and showing traces of rust. The cockpit windows and fuselage sections remain clearly visible, though shrubs grow right up to the cabin. The overcast sky and wintry branches deepen the sense of a place abandoned long ago.
