Row of abandoned ship hulls along a tidal shore in England

Along a muddy shore, numerous ship hulls lie close together, their wooden planks covered green and brown with algae. Some wrecks have almost entirely collapsed, others still show the shape of bow and stern. A narrow channel separates the hulls from a grassy foreland stretching to the horizon. The sheer number of wrecks lined up conveys the impression of a final resting place.
